Hi all, I'm Richard from Worcestershire. Have always had green fingers, started out with Cacti as a kid then moved on to Carnivorous plants in my early 20's. leaving home meant I had to sell that collection but now In my mid 30's I have my own house and tiny garden and enjoy growing anything where space allows! I must admit though, I tend to be drawn to more exotic and unusual plants. I look forward to chatting to you all!

Thanks, quite proud of it , I haven't a clue what the variety is its 5/6 years old this year the pitcher's grow to about 6/8/9 inches high and go really red in the summer it was a tiny piece when I got it , needs splinting up , finding it difficult to source locally sphagnum moss peat , seems mad having to get it derived by the post man, I have the perlite all ready was going to do late March ?

Slugs got into the pitcher last year how they got in is beyond me they must have swam across the moat !!!

Wow, don't think I have ever received such a warm welcome, thanks all! Spruce, if you can show me a picture of the pitchers I should be able to ID it for you, Sarracenias made up the bulk of my CP collection! Aesculus, it is indeed E oxypetalum. Very vigorous but sadly a shy flowered of me. I get 1 or 2 a year.
