    In fact I stood corrected because I had learned something else as I mentioned in a previous post.

    Which goes to prove that even after forty plus years experience you can still learn something new!

    I'm trying a different avenue to Peter Glazebrook, I haven't his time, patience and most importantly, dedication to onion growing so I'll never achieve anywhere near his record breakers BUT I hope to one day reach the 3kg mark if my daughter stops eating my largest "dwarfs" in comparison!:cry3:

    Thank you all for the great responce I will give you an update when things reach an interesting stage assuming they will even if they don't it may give you a smile

      I'm giving these a go myself this year. I don't expect to come anywhere near Peter Glazebrook's results, but I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
