Oak barrels - planters

I did a little searching on google for breweries in south yorkshire before posting this thread and found those that you mentioned, after a bit of research it seemed like they all use metal barrels. It seems to be cider, wine and spirit distilleries that use the oak barrels these days. I'm about 20 mins drive from Wentworth so they would be perfect if they did sell them.

I live in Maltby, Rotherham S66.

 

So, basically it all boils down to whether the barrels are of decent quality or not?

I plan on getting one this spring.
