    Good morning all

I am not a new gardener but by no means an expert I moved house last year
and the garden here is much different to the one I had before

My last garden was very long and was made practical for my young children to use the bulk of the work was landscaping lowering a fence to let more light in a decent size patio and keeping the lawn nice, I was also quite proud of my hedge it was full of holes and top heavy when we moved there but over the 7 year period we lived there I eventually got it beutifull healthy thick and strong

My new house is a lot different, the back garden is on four levels
the highest part is a flower bed then down to a lawn next is a patio and finaly down to a narrow passage to the back door sounds odd but I quite like it
the front garden is a square lawn, a hedge, a graveled area with a horrible bush that attracts wasps and blocks light from my living room

I will be lurking around the forums looking for hints and tips as I intended to break the back of both gardens in the coming month

    great site folks
    Damo

        Welcome to GC, Damo :sign0016:

The mad one's will be here soon to welcome you (the saner ones always try to get in first so you can be given fair warning). Oh no! I see Zigs has already arrived  :heehee:

Your new garden sounds interesting, Damo; but in the world of GC, it doesn't exist until we see pictures :heehee:

Looking forward to getting to know you around the forums :)
