Well done. I remember on one of my quitting attempts (have been successful this time, but there were previous attempts), I lost the ability to regulate both the speed and the volume of my speech. I remember trying to talk to one of my colleagues and I could hear myself shouting at the top of my voice and was making a conscious effort to try to tone it down but it just wasn't happening. Luckily it was the kind of company where we all laughed at everything and didn't take ourselves too seriously. My sort of company

drink singular??? As for speaking English, there is only my wife to speak to and only some of the time as we also talk Catalan. i only know locals (work and neighbours) plus the dogs of course, but they get bored with football and gardening as conversation and generally ignore me nowadays
