Mothers Day - Who got what??

Mrs Jobs got flowers and was taken out for a walk on the snowy hills of the peak district

 

Well, I'm only a mama to little furry cat creatures so I spent part of the day with those on the river and had a lovely lunch on the river with t'other half and now spending the evening with him and those here at home.

 

You couldn't have sat outside here today Victoria it was -2c and windy. But the view was nice!

 

Absolutely stunning Rob and t'other half would have loved that, but he sadly had to look at this with a high tide ...

Got a very large bouquet of mixed flowers, themed pink/dark red.
Red roses, pink gerbera,white and pink mum's.
Put them in my pink vase, on floor by my chair in sitting.
Son came and bought grandson Sam to see me.

 

I got a box of chocolates and the new Stereophonics cd and our 2 daughters and their boyfriends came round for a curry so a lovely day

 

I got a Spanish exchange student for a week and taken out for a meal.

The restaurant gave all the ladies a single stem (which is a lovely touch!) as they left. I *think* mine is a gerbera

 

The mrs got a cuff bracelet off Henry, a slate house address plate off George and this:-



She picked it up yesterday, in the snow! Very practical with a 7 month old, a 3 1/2 year old and a cocker spaniel. NOT!!!

 

Wow lovely car! I do like nice cars, even though I only have a fiesta. I got money and a beautiful necklace which arrived today.So very happy and lucky

 

My dogs and chooks got me a new propagator ....Cough

 

Lots and lots of flowers and spent the day at my daughters. But the best gift was seeing my 22 year Grandson (also his birthday that day) who has been in Thailand for a few months. He bought me back 2 beautiful scarves, a lovey silk cushion and a straw bag - but what I really enjoyed was listening to him talking with so much passion about his travels, and when he said -

'Thank you Grannie for how you brought my Mother up as it had a big influence on how she brought me up'.

 

I'm a convertible 'freak' (have my old Peugeot 3.6 Cabriolot) so I LIKE, LIKE, LIKE ... lucky Mrs al n ...
