    Got a bunch of cut flowers for someone and recognised most of the plants except this one, which escapes me.
    Looks so familier, but can't place the name.
    Over to you fellow gardeners, who may be able to help. Thanks.

      Yep, I agree Golden Rod, grows about three to four feet high.

      I agree it looks like Golden Rod but would be surprised if they are actually put in a bunch of cut flowers as so many people are allergic to them, in particular my t'other half but they make me sneeze also.

      My first thought was actually Statice which is definitely used in cut flower arrangements ...
