So what's everyone been up too whilst we have had this adverse weather, we've had quite a lot of snow up here in Leeds, so soon as it stopped snowing I basically spent my time scrapping the snow off my raised beds thus help by not allowing too much water to swamp them when it thaws. I've also been transplanting my peppers into larger pots, and just a general sort out of my seeds and pots and a tidy up in the shed.

Also read in the news paper today that we can expect this cold snap to last another 3 weeks :wallbanging:

Not much....sowed a few seeds in the house, checked my plants outside, realised that the frost had got to two of my nice big terracotta plant pot saucers so I cleaned up the broken bits. That's it really. :)

We had 4C today which has melted a fair bit of the snow... need it all to melt now before the calm conditions come. In general though nothing can be done at the moment, so leaving it all until May (take 4)

I built a retaining wall just before the snow so hopefully the frost wont have got to the mortar and weakened it! Tomorrow the soil will be moved up against it so I'll know then! lol All being well I'll level the soil ready for turfing next month.
