Well I haven't got daffodils but my tulips are only just startling to come through! Looks like they are going to hold me back planting up some of my boarders at this rate! :dunno:

Well, I put this piccie of soggy daffodils up on 8th March:

And here they are again this morning. A bit soggy but still quite fresh. This cool, sunless "Spring" has certainly kept them good to look at far longer than normal,

That's two weeks behind the daffs in West Cheshire, Shiney. It's amazing the difference in how plants are getting on with this weather.:dunno::snork:

Your garden is usually in advance of ours. I don't think that the fairly dry weather we've had has helped them much, either.

You've probably been getting the chilly easterlies from the Russian Bear too Shiney? That's what's slowed down our spring. (And its been dry)

our daffs are all finished now :cry3:they had been looking wonderful but then that bloody wind gave them the thrashing of a lifetime & they looked the worst for wear after that.

For some reason, despite the harsh long Winter that we've had, it's been a really good year for daffs as far as I'm concerned.:hapydancsmil::snork:

I planted a three groups of tete a tete in my lawn Nov 2011. Two groups showed spring 2012 , the third nothing ! This year the first two groups are up and look good . The third has now put some leaves up with no flower stalks so they are blind . Is it worth giving them another year , or should I replant this autumn ?
