    for a 25th wedding aniversary

Any body any ideas what to buy for a member of the family who has everything?

You ask want they would like and they say "nothing" (don't we all) and then you turn up and there are presents and cards everywhere

What would you like? (within reason)

    Thanks in advance

Ah now, in situations like this, I've developed a strategy. Theatre tokens or a rose 'Silver Wedding' (you can get Ruby Wedding and Golden Wedding too!)

Do they even like gardening? :dunno:

25th is Silver, so something with that connotation. A commemorative coin of some sort?

Silver photo frame with a special picture inside? (Maybe one of the original wedding day?)

          Commemorative plate?

Much depends on: how close is the relationship between you and the people concerned; what your budget is and, ultimately, what they are "into".

There are some interesting ideas on this website - but, I have never used them so cannot endorse them; just thought it may help focus your thoughts.

Let us know what you decide :)

A friend at work tried to think of something unusual for my birthday - sent a photo of me and had a cartoon mug done - maybe you could get them one each! It's something different and also a bit of fun!

Take them out for a nice meal. Or just have a arrangement with the restauranteur to settle up later. Hopefully they will give the Lobster a miss.

I can't help much as I'm useless at ideas for presents (I rely on Mrs Shiney) but we were invited to a wedding for 'someone who has everything' who put on the invitation:-
"No presents please but we would love to have one of your favourite books from your bookshelf."

For my parents' ruby wedding anniversary, I got different photos of them together, from before they were married to the present day, took them to a photo shop and made up a framed picture which still hangs on their wall even after their golden wedding anniversary.
You could also do it by taking the front page of a newspaper from the day they were married and putting their photo on it with an article written about them.
