Lovely roses Merleworld and such a lovely colour.

Not good results from my purchase of Dame de Coeur rose as it was dead as a dodo when I received it and no wonder as when I check it had spent 12 days in the post.
I have tried to buy one but none of the local garden centres seem to have any DdeC at the moment. I am taking a chance and have ordered from Spaldings as not very far from Norwich but my mistake as the very nice customer services lady told me most of their plants are shipped from Holland! She did however say that their orders usually arrive within the week.
        Hmmm! we shall see.[IMG]

Dame de Coeur rose has just arrived! Hooray! It was shipped 15th and arrived 17th which is not bad is it. Looks ok and is now soaking in a bucket of lukewarm water as per instructions.

Just hope the weather is a bit warmer tomorrow for the planting. At the moment it's thermals and thick jacket for outside. Can't believe it will soon be June

Be lovely to see a photo of that same bed in a couple of months - bet it looks completely different!

No open flowers as yet, but plenty of buds. Think my Mutabilis is going to be the first one to flower :)

I am feeling the urge to buy some more roses but I must resist. Oh well maybe just the one!

I finally gave in and ordered another DA Rose - Golden Celebration.

Also bought this lovely climber from Costco today - Pas de Deux :wub2:
