Well it seems I am running late this year but at last the weather looks set to warm up a bit overnight so time to start planting seeds for this year.
    Tomatoes
    Parsnips
    Cabbage
    Cucumber in airing cupboard
    Pepper already in heated propargator
Leeks in but not germinated yet.
Potatoes are on the window sill in garage
Onion sets are in the allotment
There are others but I can't think of them at the moment

I have read many of you are ahead of me but last year I got fed up with bringing plants in the house overnight because it was getting so cold at night.

I only started some of mine off yesterday as well ,so far peppers and some tomatoes sown, I started pushing some plants out of greenhouse yesterday so I can crack on a little more today. :blue thumb:
It`s just been so cold and with obligations, I knew I would be missing at Easter, My neighbour is no gardener, as proved with my Fuchsias she potted up but failed to water. Could not leave her with a greenhouse full of seedlings :loll:.

Your list is about the same as mine David, except my tomatoes are a couple of inches tall now with the help of a heated propagator and some grow lights. Everything is definitely later this year than in the past.

Yes, David the frost was bad this morning. It's only gone in the last hour here. I must say that I find it still so cold outside at the moment :frown:

Hi goosegog I have put some parsnip seeds in the ground but germinated them indoors so I hope that helps, at least the cold easterly wind has gone. I will sow courgette squash tomato and cucumber after the weekend
      Good luck
      Dave
