Replicating Edwardian Mouldings

    This was for a job in London some years back.

    There was some damaged sections that needed replacing so I took down a section of the original moulding, cleaned the layers of distemper off, carefully coated it in Vaseline & then made a latex mould of it.

    Once i'd made a few, I lined them up side by side & made another mould so I could reproduce enough to do the job.

      Time consuming I bet Zigs. They look like moulds for dentures. :)

                Afraid not John, only visted the site once, made them back at the yard & then sent them up.

                Kept the moulds though, just as well, as the company went bust & never paid me my last months wages.
