here's a video of the machine:

don't think that it does stripes very well as it does not have a roller ... it uses a rubber flap instead

other to that it looks ok ... I like the feature where you connect your hose to the deck to clean the underside

and this guy on amazon says that it works very well in his garden that has a hill/slope

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/ROA4RCC0W5382

but read the rest of the amazon reviews and it looks like people have a few concerns as build quality

thats why it's sometimes best to get something 2nd hand like an etesia for a few pounds more

Yeah, I did spot that and think it would win mower-races! It does seem large for a walk-behind? Not sure my Atco Royale 24" cylinder with tow-seat-roller has an engine that big? (Wish it did, it would reduce mowing time ...)

I recently moved from a house with no garden to one with a lovely lawned front and a 100ft back garden. The back garden is split into two halves by a flowerbed and a willow tree. I was having a torrid time choosing a mower!!!

I wanted a petrol one but they were a little too dear (skint after moving) I ended up buying the Bosch Rotak 34 Ergoflex......its BRILLIANT!!!! nice and light, really easy to move around and collects the clipping with ease. Highly recommended.

My only (slight) regret is that I didn't get the '40' as the wider cutting blade would make the overall job a bit easier.

    Good luck with your purchase

I will be buying one soon for some of the small gardens that I work at

I used a client's one (the 34) on monday just after it rained ... it picked up all the wet clippings

    brilliant little mower

I think it's all down to personal preference. The garden equipment I use is pretty standard stuff because you can do everything with the lower brand items as well as the higher quality brands.

I also bought a Bosch Rotak recently - best piece of equipment I have ever bought. I would highly recommend this if you are not completely dead set on a petrol mower. I wrote a full review on the Rotak here: Bosch Rotak Lawnmower Review
