Good suggestion, I've done all that:dbgrtmb:

I couldn't actually find a few of the beans, but most are potted up again. This time I put them on the much more sturdy bench that I built myself, rather than the flimsy wire shelf thing in that came with the blowaway.

I sprayed my greenhouse plants with weedkiller once instead of pesticide!

Our blowaway doesn't blow away :what: because we've got a couple of paving stones on the bottom shelf. So we use the stones as a shelf. :blue thumb:

Mine doesn't blow away because I secured the bottom of the cover to planks of wood, and buried them under about 8 inches of earth, and then I fasted the ropes it came with to stakes driven very well into the ground, and also attached two more ropes between the greenhouse and the fence.

It still rocks a bit in the wind though, and I think this is why stuff fell off the flimsy shelf.

Isn't it about time we learnt our lesson with these blowaway greenhouses. :heehee: I had one a few years back and anchored it down only to have the cover torn off and blown away, never again!

                Aw, clue :grphg:

The 'disasters & disappointments' are to be expected (although, never welcomed!) for one solo reason: the successes

I remember when I was growing up, my older brother remarked: "If it wasn't for mad people in the world, we wouldn't be 'normal'; there would be nothing to make a comparison with". I think that remains true of most things in life.

So, upwards and onwards; because when it does goes well, think of the joy that will bring ;)

Ours did that as well . So I tied the top of the framework to a drainpipe - then some of the local cats started to sit on the shelves if there were no plants on them!!!
