    What is this?
    It's shot up from nowhere in the last 3 weeks!
    Please don't tell me it's some deadly weed I have to dig up as it looks as if it's just about to flower.

    Probably leucanthemum vulgare or Ox eye daisy. Dooon't pull it up, it'll be cute. You can pull it up after it's done flowering.

      Yes, I was thinking some sort of daisy but the plant itself is big so im assuming the flowers will be too!

      well there were Rudbeckias there last year which my neighbour gave me and they were lovely but I was sure they were only annuals and I don't remember the leaves being that big! Gerberas would be lovely.
