Conifer ID ?

remind me of a redwood ???

 

I know its only "skinny", but not sure the trunk looks right?

 

Hmmm ... Google not showing many "young Sequoia" but some of those do have "open" structure, so that may well be it

 

Don`t think they are sequias , but sure some variety of redwood (green head perhaps)
seen the same leaves in my local market , sold as bonsai .
perhaps some sequia in your garden , wouldn`t be a bad idea , in New Zealand I`ve seen a 100 years old sequaias forest , planted by a single man and now becomed a national park .

 

It's a deciduous one, more likely the dawn redwood, Metasequoia glyptostroboides.

 

I agree, probably dawn redwood, or less likely swamp cypress.

 

Definitely Metasequoia glyptostroboides.
