          Weird I have golden showers and the petals have turned almost white. Am starting to wonder if it was Golden Showers after all. They start of yellow but very quickly fade to white.

            Thats unusual Jungle Jane !!! very pretty though, mine don't fade :scratch: and they also have a fabulous scent, mine was a bargain 99p plant from Wilkinsons years ago :biggrin:, its huge now up to the bedroom window, its come away from the wall a bit though and needs tying back up, not relishing that job :hate-shocked:.

              The beautiful 'Mary Rose' is starting to open, I love this rose it always has so many flowers, I'll post another picture when its in full bloom, I won't be able to resist :heehee:

                      Strangely, this is a German rose, bred by Kordes. It is widely available in USA and reports that I have heard say that it is not a great grower. Blooms are outstanding but not plentiful. Spaldings do in fact sell this variety but I can find no other UK suppliers.
