This is a plant I've had for years, long lost the label, if I ever had one. I think I got it with a pre-made tub or basket from somewhere. It actually now fills the tub and I've taken some root cuttings (okay, pulled a few bits off that rooted immediately).

It's hardy, evergreen and has some pretty poor white flowers on it, nothing like alyssum but more like the weed, MilkMaid, BUT a lot nicer.

The flowers and seed pods look a little like rocket, so I would start by looking at alpines in the brassica family. How about searching for alpine erisymum? Or draba fladnizensis? Looking at google images, I think my money's on a draba at the moment though lots of them are yellow not white.

Best match I've seen so far is draba verna, the leaves seem similar and it flowers at the right time to have seed pods now. But, there seem to millions to pick from!

Don't think so, but thanks for the suggestion. I had a look in wiki for this plant and the "flowers are borne an inch or two above the ground" is wrong as the stems are on average 4-6".

It's definitely a Rockery Plant though, I just wish I could remember where I got it from, might give me a clue. I've had it several years in a tub, but where and why I would buy a tub of rockery plants when I've got so many tubs around the conny as it is, I just don't know.

Have a look at Arabis procurrens - it has small white flowers and also a two toned foliage.
