Go outside now & look up at the moon, this doesn't happen often.

I opted for staying indoors, in the warmth.

Excellent, worth braving the cold for. I fitted 3 extra radiators during the snow last year, just to spread the heat around the house a bit better. Worth doing.

:gnthb: I seriously love the cold crisp weather Zig & my favourite mornings are... A bright sun, clear blue sky & the ground solid under your feet & trees white & glistening with frost & if it can be a Hoar frost then Wonderful.................. I will walk for miles.....

I remember driving down from Wales in about 1992 ish, probably thru Glostershire.

There had been a blocking high stuck over the country for about 5 weeks & there was hoar frost all the way. Looked fantastic.

Had to get out of the welsh valley as the air hadn't changed in that time & all the coal smoke was just sat in it. Eyes were stinging & breathing wasn't much fun.

If you walked up the mountain there was fresh air about 50 feet up & the smoke looked like a grey lake in the valley.

Tar was dripping out of the down pipes where it was condensing on the roof.

    How pretty :)

Will it be there tonight as well? I hope it does signify cooler, frosty weather. At the moment here we have sunny starts, that soon cloud over...and then it rains :(

Well, its good to see you are motivated about celestial things now Aaron :gnthb:
Just had a final check myself, cant even see the moon now, too much cloud.

But hey, I get to sleep in a heated house tonight :gnthb: albeit one with a big hole in the side.
