    Hi All

I sowed some Lupins earlier in the year and they are doing well. Do I plant them out this year or pot them on and over winter them for next spring?

Hi Rusty, you can plant them out now and if you're really lucky they might bloom this year, mine have in the past. :)

If you're lucky, they may even survive.

I loved growing lupins, great statuesque spires of colour then, the lupin aphid hit Ilkley and the surrounding area. Can't grow them past a few inches now before the swarms destory every trace of the plants.

They are looking great. I have a few about to bloom. Please post additional pictures when they are settled and blooming.

My seedlings have almost reached the pricking out stage, so yours are doing far better than mine are - I need to shift the strawberries out of the 9cm pots to make way for the lupins to move into

A gardeners work is never done!
