hi all, i'm a brummie living in ireland, i've been living here for 12yrs and i've seen an awful lot of rain and local flooding since i've been here making it difficult at times to do gardening. i'm not great at gardening but i enjoy it. i buy bedding and container plants every year which makes gardening alot easier. i'm slowly introducing perrenials to cut down the cost and collecting seeds aswell. this year i'm having a go at growing toms. there are 2 types, gardeners delight and garden pearl.. regards nijinski

Hi Nijinski, welcome to G.C., what part of Ireland are you in.It helps so much to have a rough idea of where you are, as conditions can vary so much.

It`s handy to have an idea of location as say if you lived on the Dingle peninsular, or in Wicklow it`s wildly opposing climates.
