Mayfly (I think)

    Well, I think it's a MayFly, rather than an infant Dragonfly which I do have most years in my garden.

    First time that s/he's sat still long enough for me to A) grab my camera and B) stay around whilst I got into position.

      Think its a Small Red Damselfly. Mayflies have got hairs poking out the back and no wing tip spots.

        Thanks, and yes, I meant Damselfly, not Mayfly, (another) senior moment!

        It's actually perched on the ridge of my aluminum cold frame, though today in 20+C it's more likley to be a HOT frame.
