I used to lodge with a woman years ago, who had three kids - one girl, and a twin boy & girl, and I remember her telling me when I had a dental abscess once that the pain I was in was "the hell of all diseases, and a lot worse than labour" - - now, I certainly wouldn't want an abscess again, but for her to say that it kinda puts it into perspective; and in fairness, she would know!

For once, I think the BBC summed up the media frenzy of the day quite well :heehee:

Crikey, I thought this Royal Baby business was really boring, but apparently it's as exciting as growing Giant Pumpkins!

I think Richard would be a good name for the new prince:cool:

Lovely to see the happy couple leave hospital last night and it looked like the new prince was trying out the royal wave as they showed him off

Such a shame that Diana is no longer around to see and enjoy her new grandchild, and i would still rather have William on the throne now, rather than Charles:snork:

Yes, and make him Duke of Gloucester.

Sorry, mentally I'm back in the late 1400s at the mo.

Just realised that there already is a Richard Duke of Gloucester. No matter, he's bound to be treasonous, off to the Tower with him!
