Today for me, this site is not working on Firefox - getting the message "If you are seeing this your ISP has not yet updated to reflect the New cloud server, however dont fear it will soon!"

It is working on Internet Explorer (which I don't use - but may have to for this site ?) and on the AOL software (which I rarely use as it freezes).

Assuming Firefox will automatically send me an update for this ?

Doesn't need to be compulsory, and only needs to be an indication of where they are (county / post-town will do). I think EU law is relating to more specific than that? (Assuming you can qualify the field's Label easily)

      Dunno if that helps though?

      How about:

"It will help contributors to answer your questions if you indicate roughly where you live (County / Post town)"

I've checked on another laptop and they appear OK there, so that seems to be the solution.

I'm sure that I used to be able to logon on 2 computers, but now find that although I can logon using a second laptop, as soon as I move from the home page I get logged out - should that be happening?

Don't quite follow that as to when it means I'll be able to logon using my spare laptop? (I wasn't using a bookmark/etc. on it and it didn't have GC in my browsing history either)

P.S. CRTL + F5 sorted out the wayward images, saving me from clearing out stuff I didn't want to.

P.P.S Is the (T x) Remove Formatting button new? Works great to clear formatting from a chunk of stuff copied from the web, etc. and used in conjunction with Unlink to get rid of hyperlinks. BB Code Editor view also useful - think I had to go via More Options to view/sort out stuff like wayward imbedded quotes previously.

There was an ICON in that position, which did similar job, before. You would have had to have known it was there, to have realised that you might use it, though!

I can drag and drop from this page - as below - but can't do it from my photo folders on my computer (as mentioned previously). So I just tried something different. I went into Windows Manager (or whatever it's called nowadays) and dragged it from there. It appeared to drop into this Edit window but then took over the screen completely and I could only get back here by using the back button. I'm going to try it with a much smaller file.

Nope, didn't work. The file I tried was only 52kb and 600 x 600 but did the same thing as the larger file.

i suppose I shall have to continue to use the 'Upload a File' button

            I'm using IE9

Why does 'Location' (plus Occupation, etc.) right justify? Looks rather odd to me, especially when it wraps onto another line.

@shiney And which version of Windows?

P.S. @Richard.r I actually prefer the @ symbol preceding a User's name as it make a clear distinction between tagging (or whatever it's called now) and a named link, although I think it would look better like this @shiney with the @ within the blue link

How do I get rid of these annoying alerts that seem to have populated the entire forum?
