    Hi

We've had gales this weekend, blew the top of my outside light! Strange weather, gales in the evening and through the night and calmer and milder during the day. No wind today, just poured down with rain, just as I was hoping I could get in the garden to tidy up - no such luck!

It's been very mild but windy here in Wales. 11 degrees overnight according to our weather station.

I even managed to get a bit of gardening done yesterday and today, it was great to get out and potter again.

Well, it's 39f outside at the moment and it's not risen above 42f all day! Cold, breezy and miserable with drops of rain now and then. Not a day to inspire to do anything in the garden!!

A good 3 or 4 degrees of frost the night before and minus 2 this morning. Polytunnel temperature rose to 27 yesterday ... poor plants, thats a huge variation.

    To cold for gardening.
I wish it would warm up a bit so I can get started on the big tidy up.
    I missed out in November.
By the time I came off holiday it was covered in snow.

A horrible day! Temperatures of 34f, wall to wall grey cloud, a cold bone chilling wind. The Greenhouse was only recording 52f but I was grateful for that. I still managed a days pruning and shredding, with cups of hot tea to keep me going! There must be better warmer weather next week surely??!!

Not a bad day here today, the north easterlies have ceased and it's a pleasant 10 degrees, watery sunshine too :)
