      Of course.

I've been putting a record of what the solar hot water heating has got upto in this thread, its an easy way to compare it season by season.

Down here on the ground its only got hot enough to wilt Choppers Dill plant & make my carrots droop.

Better get out and water now the sun has finally gone down:bbq:

Its a bit like that bloke from the BBC that throws a thermometer down on the grass, on centre court at Wimbledon, every year, in full sun, and proclaims to all the world, its 110F here.:D

      It really is embarrassing:o

      .

25c here today with a very strong wind, which dries the pots and tubs out very quickly!
On GW tonight our Monty was "having" to work in the rain, we here have had only one nights rain, plus a few showers that almost wet the paths since end of Feb, terrible!

The boy has had a bath & said that the water was steaming even with the cold tap on.

I just had a wash after and the water was still mega hot. There is a warm glow coming from the tank room & i'm so glad I don't have a hot water bill:dbgrtmb:

The tank will hold the heat for days, if it carries on with this heat then i'll need to sink it into the fireplace masonry.

That'll be odd, sitting round a non blazing fireplace:D

We've just had a torrential shower; it only lasted a few minutes mind and it did smell lovely even though it was most unexpected as there weren't really any dark clouds about :what:

Temperatures are much more comfortable low 20's today :thumb:

Just come in from doing some gentle gardening in the shade. F thermometer was showing 83 when I passed it (No, ziggy, it wasn't painful :WINK1: :heehee:). Too hot for me so I'm cooling off indoors.

It's been tipping it down all night here and is still going strong. The garden definitely needs the rain but I have a feeling the slugs and snails, which haven't been very mobile during the hot spell, are going to be making up for lost time by eating everything in sight.

I'm thinking the summer is now over, its cold and showery here, kind of thing you expect in April.
Looking at the forecast, (I know you cant trust it), there is no real change for most of this month.
Its done the same as last year, only the break in the weather is about a month earlier.

Drought??? Never actually seen one of those, not in the UK and not in my lifetime.
Its just the powers that be getting their knickers in a twist about a few dry weeks that ALWAYS revert back to normal.
