How does this sound for a bit of a mash up?

When I first read the title on the thread I thought that @fat controller had taken up doing a DJ set in Ibiza
But it does sound delicious add extra chillis for me

 

Right you ladies and Al n, I'm not going to fight you for FC, I'm taking a different stance and basically begging!

1. How come there are all you men out there that can cook?
2. My son, my sons-in-law and my brothers can cook, how did I get the man that can't and won't learn?
3. Out of all the daily chores, I absolutely DETEST cooking! Yes, that sounds like a strong word, but this is the one chore that makes me absolutely miserable! I'd rather clean a house from top to bottom than cook one single meal.

FC, I can promise you a clean house and all the DIY's up to date, please come and be my live in cook!

 

One of my children made it at school many years ago ... actually, it was the first 'dinner' we cooked for Mr "M" (He was so hard to cook for back in the day when he was a fussy breeches - I've retrained him accordingly: there is more to life than meat, potatoes and .... tinned peas/carrots )

It's very basic, FC and easily adapted.

Sliced corned beef
Sliced (par boiled) potatoes
Either tinned tomatoes (or sliced fresh)
Herbs/seasoning
And a bit of stock.

Layer it all up, ending with a topping of sliced potatoes. Pop some spots of butter on the top, cover and bake until the potatoes are cooked through and browned on top.

Either way that's the next two days menu plan sorted

I'm not on " that bus" ( cracking saying tho!!) either, but my mrs can't cook!! Even Henry my eldest who's 4 can cook his own omelette!
