Help with these two please

    Hi,
    We Went to Hidcote Manor over the weekend and would really like to know what these 2 plants are, download 1 is large possibly 6-8ft high, download 2 was 2-3 ft high and swarming with bees, any help gratefully received.

    2nd one is a Hydrangea ?grandiflora unless the leaves are oak shaped in which case it is H. quercifolia.
