Next door were thinning some bamboo and gave me a few pieces. Any idea what it is? I have one cane in one pot and two in another both 5l pots an 5 ft canes, both had very little root at all around the size ov a tennis ball each, think they will survive. Was given two other clumps with good root mass aswell. Thanks for any info

 

These are the two with little roots, think they will live ? Fingers crossed

 

dont know which one but taking into account they have very little root I would cut the cane down to 12 inches to stop water loss .
