In the evenings, I like nothing better than to be on GC and reading what you guys have been up to, whether in the garden, or whatever. My OH is on her laptop doing what she likes best, while my son is watching television, or playing on his PS3.:hehe:

Well it certainly is interesting to see what everyone else is doing - a lot of TV and PC going on for most it would seem :)

Guess we really are in the technological age - makes me wonder what we did without all this!

Sure thing, Kathy. What I can never figure, is how some people say that they have nothing to do. With us, we have so much that there no enough hours in the day to do it all. It looks like you've got it sewn up too.:hehe:

I would LOVE to have nothing to do - even if just for a day lol :)

I know what you mean Jazmine. Its the thing I miss about everyone getting older now - they dont want to sit watching the tv with us, or anything else with us either really. Their mates are far too important so missing a minute with them is like having their arm chopped off lol

Thats why I love the summer really. All the 'kids' love a BBQ so when the weather is even half decent at the weekend we have one so that we all get to sit round the nice big table outside and actually TALK. Its lovely :) ... well until the kids all start arguing between themselves lol

It's exactly the same in our house Sam. Being here in the evening while the rest of the family are chilling [eldest son works on his computer] hubby chills watching TV as he has normally worked or done jobs here in the garden or house] just lets my brain relax a little.

Very often though I get "mum. mum, mummmmmmmmmmm" so it's not all peace.

We all try to chill in the evenings. Having 7 computers, 4 TV's and 4 sky boxes ... there is always plenty of things to sit in front off lol

Me and OH always aim to at least sit in the same room though whatever we are doing, esp as we are both out working all day or we wouldnt see each other otherwise. Even if he on computer playing a game, I sit in whichever room he is in and either go on computer too or watch the TV.

Tonight he is lying on the bed on laptop playing his game, while im on my computer in same bedroom. 3 of the kids are all on their computers/watching TV and the lounge is actually empty for once lol

4th child is out ...... always out !! He has football and then kick boxing tonight - I have no idea where he gets the energy from lol

Hi, Kathy, everyone... I've just returned from having our evening meal and an hour watching Warehouse 13 on one of the Sky channels. By the way, Kathy, I left a question for you on the Gardener's question time forum. I like forums too, but I have to say that my favourite by far is this one, GC. After all, where else on the net can you find so many nice friendly people.

Of course, now I'm running through the different threads in order to read what's been happening today in everyone's gardens. I can't resist the gaming area, plus anything to do with photography, but I'm keen to learn more about gardening and garden ideas, so I'm off to look there in a minute.:thmb:

It's seldom that you'll find me here during the day, since whenever we can, we go out into the beautiful countryside around here, take a packed lunch, our cameras and enjoy wherever our travels take us.:yho:

    Catch you all again later,:hehe:

I hadn't really considered the fact that there is a lot of carbon copying going on, but then I am what I am and I know what I like. A lot of what we do comes as a direct response to the gardening link. I would have thought that most gardeners have some affinity with nature, and perhaps the desire to record everything with a camera. I find that some memories can begin to fade after so many years, but a photograph, well it enables us to relive that moment in time again and again. It's like nature, we cannot garden without it, nor can we ignore it, it's all around us so why not encompass it and enjoy that too.

Just to end for another day, as I'm typing this message I'm listening to the Cure on Youtube, while my OH plays a game on her Laptop. Night all....

Welcome back, Rosa. How did your holiday go in Turkey? I trust that your plants have survived the ordeal of being with you for a few days?:)

Kathy, this is going to come as a bit of a shock to you... but, I HATE FOOTBALL!!! I'm not looking forward to the world cup starting again, and this is because my neighbour is mad about footy. You only have to hear them when goals are being scored... Aaaarrgh!:dh::flag:

On this occasion, the wife is downstairs in a mood, so I'm up here hiding. I don't know why she's in a mood, I don't think I've been naughty, perhaps she's just tired.

So this time, while I'm up here (hiding), the wife is stropping about downstairs:)
