    Afternoon all,

Shiney, I had the same problem with my Crocosmia, I had to go around the edges and
take pieces away, it is now a better size clump. I won't let it get like that again.

Thank you Loli, my mouth is not too bad today, just the odd twinge, another space to suck a grape through !:eeew:

Peter, my other half had his leg dressed today, and it is looking a lot better, hopefully
it will not be long before it look normal.

Well here's to another lovely sunny day, lets hope there are a few more before the autumn comes.

    Bye for now:doggieshmooze:

    Aloha everyone,

It's very foggy at the moment and extremely mild. Going to be a hotty!

I'll have another crack at the crocosmia if my elbow will stand it. It's almost better but doesn't like very heavy work. We've got a few people wanting crocosmia and I shall be giving them, each, a clump that will fill a bucket - if I can get the clumps (technical gardening term :heehee:) out. I hope to shift about a dozen clumps.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Morning Kandy and wiseowl, shiney, and everyone.

No work today , so I can get out in the garden :hapydancsmil:

Grass cutting, plant up some pots with spring bulbs and pansies. Got some Violas to plant up too. Also have some Foxglove 'Alba' for the border out front, that I think should be planted up now for flowering next summer :dunno:

Have a good day all, enjoy the last day of summer (weather man says going to be very autumnal for the next week or so).

    Good morning everyone,

Wow Shiney, Your Pear tree certainly is laden...there's no wonder the branch snapped...they all look lovely pears:dbgrtmb:

Steve,i love Foxgloves especially 'Alba'....they'll be fine going in the ground now..plus they'll get a good watering in tomorrow if the weather is anything to go by....enjoy your day off:dbgrtmb:

Lili, pleased to hear Mr Lili's leg is improving:dbgrtmb:

It's lovely out there ,i've just been out looking at what needs to be done as tomorrow the forecast is looking very wet which we need desperately but the ground is so compacted i can see there'll be alot of standing water...i may spike the lawn for starters if i can get the fork in the ground:rolleyespink:....

I bought a few plants from Harlow Carr yesterday but i'll wait till the weekend before trying to plant them...i'd need a pick axe at the moment not a spade....

It's going to be very hot today, stay cool everyone:dbgrtmb:

    Have a lovely day all,take care:SUNsmile:

    Aloha everyone,
It is already very warm. Must pop to the vets later to get Amber's fix of worming tablets and frontline or rather equivalent of frontline. Shall not take her with me as it will be too hot in the car for her.

Shiney, they are incredible pictures of the bonfire and your lovely lot of pears.

Lili, so glad your OH's leg is on the mend.

Gdnam, you are keen with your bulbs and violas etc. But ready for the 'Alba' They will look a picture next year. Good luck.

Waves to Loli, Kandy and WOO and anyone else we normally see on here from time to time.

Have a good day all, Try to stay cool. God bless.

    Aloha!:wub2:

                Aloha Woo and everyone,

Still mild but a bit damp out there this morning. If it doesn't rain much I shall get a load of stuff done out there. Shopping first.

Mrs Shiney is off to Ham House in a few minutes and I'll be left all on my own to be as naughty as I like. :heehee:

                Have a great day

                Aloha!

                  Aloha everyone,

WOO Thank you for the bonus day! I do appreciate a reminder that life is short and goes so fast. Have a good day my friend.

Shiney, I think we may have been overlooked for rain, no sign of it here. Boo Hoo. Where and what is Ham House, I wonder.

CRG. I bet you do miss your little Chimney but so glad she settled in ok. You will soon adjust to not having her around all the time.

Well have a lovely day all my friends, God bless.

                  Aloha!:wub2:

I'm still waiting for the predicted rain:whistle:,i've just been out and popped some polythene bags over some of the seed heads i want to save ,they're not quite ripe yet and i don't want them soaking......if it doesn't rain in the next couple of hours i'll do the watering regardless...
I did the lawn edges and potted on some cuttings yesterday but it took me an age...it was so hot:phew:.....
