A little note to say hello.

The 'green' in my username refers more to the fact that I am little green around the gills when it comes to gardening than my environmentally friendly gardening credentials.

Having moved house recently and gone from a small, low maintenance garden to large, demanding plot, I have found myself on a *huge* learning curve! I love every minute of being in the garden but don't have much of a clue what I am doing ...yet.

I'm looking forward to having a good old nose around the forums to pick up hints and tips and find answers to some of my many questions. One day I hope I will have enough knowledge to share with other novice but enthusiastic gardeners.

    Vicky

Hello and welcome. What a nice goal. And even nicer is your reality that "one day" you'll gain gardening knowledge, and not immediately stress over "I want it now". Half the fun of gardening knowledge is all the little shovels along the way.

Sorry about that, gg. We're having some problems with the site at present but hope to get them addressed sometime soon.
