The thermometer says 20'C

But I'm nithering. Is it:

A) Because 20'C is actually quite cold
B) Because although 20'C is not cold, it is quite a lot cooler than we've been used to for the last few weeks or
C) I'm coming down with The Snot.

 

I'd go with C...Clue.......seems like it's doing the rounds

 

Just had to google "nithering"....lol. I haven't heard that in Scouseland.

I'll be different then. I think it's B. I have even put a cardi on today. Very unlike me. I think we are all just re-acclimatizing.

Does it change anything if I report that my muscles are aching and I've sneezed a few times today?

 

If it is man flu, and it certainly sounds as if its the start, then it'll be touch and go whether you get over it. You'll need copious amounts of tending to, tea, chokky, cake, biskwits, lots of hugs and wiping of the brow. If all this is adhered to fully, then you might just pull through.

I've had it myself twice now, and both times I thought I was not long for this world, but because mrs al looked after me big stylie I managed to pull through, only just mind. It was the last hot cup of coffee, the chokky bikkie and the "there, there" whilst stroking my brow that did it. Phew.........good luck fella, the women have it easy, man flu never seems to get them. Good that it doesn't really, it's a nasty, NASTY bit of kit.

 

This has been confirmed by the boffins. Women have more immunity to it than men. Its an evolutionary thing. Men have weaker immune systems for some very good reason that is so important that I've forgotten it.

No such thing as man flu, its all in the mind. The womans mind!

They just want to 'mummy' us, so we feel we have to let them, come back when you have something serious like 'tummy ache' or a 'sore thumb'

 

I actually had real flu once.
