Log in with Facebook

I notice you can log in to this site with Facebook, what exactly does that do?
Does it share posts from here with FB, maybe linking to a GC page on FB? Also would it show my posts here on my FB timeline?

 

I think it can cross-post if you choose to, you certainly can share with twitter. It also means that if you're a new user, you don't necessarily have to create different log in credentials as it'll use your Facebook log in.

 

Ahh ok, that's a good idea.
I don't mind the cross posting and sharing if its optional, I just get so confused with FB and privacy!
