rare plant - Rhederodendron shrub

    Anyone out there with information on quite a rare shrub with the confusing name of RHEDERODENDRON ? I have been promised a seed ( if the squirrels don't get it) and would appreciate advise re germination.

    That is a lovely shrub and a new one to me. The very best of luck with germinating it. Let us know how you get on.

    The lady that owns the ' Mother plant ' is called Yvonne Matthews, and is a well known garden guru down here in Cornwall - living on the Roseland peninsular. I have mentioned that cuttings look a better bet, but will also have a go at germinating the seed she has for me.
