    Hi Guys.

Found this in the apple orchard, it as a spiral patterned body with tiny red spots, and a barb on it's tail (approx 5cm long)

    Hi Gort

I wuold say it's an Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillar ... three of them ate our grapevine the year before last ... beautiful moths, horrid green critters (although there is a cuteness to them) .... I call them Green Rubber Monsters!
