Hi everyone, my aunt had many of these flowers and she dug up a few for me a couple of months back, I planted them in a slightly overgrown part of the garden where I'm going to plant flowers next year.

The flowers are quite small and the foilage is a silvery/grey colour, any ideas?

I agree with Quercus, Lychnis coronaria. They are very short lived perennials, more like a biennial really, but are very easy from seed and will often seed themselves around.

Thanks for the replies! I tried to save and dry out some seeds which I planted, only about four have germinated two weeks later but I think I may have been a bit premature in taking them from the plant. Hopefully they'll self seed because they'd look better in a larger clump. Thanks again.
