    Went to Compton Acres at Poole yesterday as we and my mum hadn't been there for years.
    This is LMRR's back garden, almost.:D

    Where are the Bank Holiday crowds???

    This is near the Japanese Garden which had a wedding in full swing so couldn't get to it.

    I can help you out with the crowds though there all on the isle of wight:(:(:(

    went to Ryde yesterday and you couldn't move there were so many scooters on the sea front it was absolutley heaving for the Isle of Wight Bank Holiday Weekend Scooter Rally

    We've just got back from that part of Poole, and I haven't been to Compton Acres in years. Love the first picture. I really must make the effort to visit again. Has much of the garden been lost to developers?

    There seems to be some building work there but I'm not sure if it was part of the grounds.

    Lol my back garden extension. U should've said u were coming up here u could've popped in for tea/coffee and had a look at my other garden :hehe:

    Oh and the pics are cool. Did u see the terrapin in the stream by one of the bridges?

    I'll give you a bell next time we are in the area Kelly, didn't see the Terrapin.
    In house Advisor got stung by a wasp just after we got there which made her finger swell up and spoilt our day a bit as she had a bad reaction to it. It's ok now.:)

    Looks much better than it used to must pop along as its just up the road from me we used to live 2mins from there.
