    Hi Ismeval,

All this talk of lots of bodies in tents!!:hehe:

We have just one compost bin which keeps me supplied with all I need.
Mine is a mass of tiny flies, slugs on the side and potatoes and tomatoes growing!

It does the job though :)

Ismeval, yes you will we lose a lot of mass but most of it was water anyways, the resulting compost will have a higher concentration of nutrients so its very good.

Geoff you certainly understand the composting process and providing some very good advice, as you well know dalek composters don't allow sufficient aeration to provide optimal microbial activity and too small a open heap wont provide sufficient insulation etc

Whizz-away and She-wee are devices that enable a girl to pee standing up or sitting in a wheel chair etc. I experimented with one of these whilst mountaineering a few years back.

It is quite a feat of mind over matter to pee standing up - doesn't come naturally to a girl. In the end I didn't use it that much on the mountain but I might have a look around for my old one to use on the compost heap (since my DH won't comply :( )
