Good Morning everyone and Welcome Marley to 2014

I still have a terrible sore throat and it hurts something chronic when eat and drink anything so am going to stay in the warm today

We still have our tree up and all the lights indoors and outdoors will still be on tonight and then everything will come down tomorrow and packed away ready for this Crimbo.

Had a good frost last night and the cars looked pretty but it wasn't too good underfoot but we survived our walk.

Oh and yesterday we popped to our local ex Wyevale GC and picked up a four foot Nordman Fir Christmas Tree reduced from £39.99 to under £20 so a good bargain wethinks

I hope everyone is OK

That wind got up again yesterday evening,it was quite frightening....it seems to have eased over night but more of the same is expected today....still it's no where near as bad as other parts of the country

Moyra....i missed the photo opportunity of Mr Heron but he'll be back so i will snap him at some point....

Loli, Mr Heron no doubt will come back to see if you have restocked your pond. Lol. He is going to be a bit disappointed if you are going to redo it all later in the year.

Good morning everyone,

Its cold here, although not quite as cold, but that's to return later today....supposed to be -45 tonight and into tomorrow. We've got some snow squalls happening, at times I cant see across the street!!

We also got about a foot of snow overnight too, so Brad and I will be out tonight with the snow blowers. Thankfully I drive a big truck so I don't need to worry about getting stuck!!

Off to start some laundry, since I am home today...probably pop in later....so enjoy your day everyone.

For some reason I can no longer upload pictures!

 

Morning everyone,

Its currently -45 here with the wind chill, they've closed all the schools here in my county because of the cold and blowing snow. I was supposed to go down to Toronto today, but with the blowing snow, that's not happening today, so I get 2 days off in a row!!

Brad and I went out at 8:30 yesterday morning and it took us just under 5 hours to do all the snow blowing that needed to be done, need to go back out there again tonight and do some more.

Had Daniel last night for a bit, Natalie and Dan went to the movies. I didn't get anything done last night that I wanted to do, so I'll that today.

Off to make some breakfast.....so enjoy your day, and anyone who is getting this brutal cold....stay warm!!
