Hi, I'm new to the forum so if I do something incorrectly please tell me :P

Lately in a few gardens I've been seeing people hanging bottles around plants like tomatoes to keep insects away from the plants. I have no idea what is in them. Any suggestions, because I would rather do that then spray pesticide.

    Thanks

    Morning Salim welcome to GC:dbgrtmb:....

I got that tip from one of our members here on GC...I haven't tried it on plants but i did fill bottles with water and added a couple of pennies to them and hung them in my chicken run:chicken: i was surprise with the results ...they did keep the flies at bay...not completely but did reduce the numbers dramatically:dbgrtmb:

Thanks for the reply and that's interesting. I'm planning on using bottles for vegetable plants and so on, do you think it would help?
