Hi everyone, here's a few photos I took of my Pinks. I've got around 15 varieties but haven't photographed them all yet. They are a mix of large and dwarf sizes.

Super photos! I love number five, it looks just like raspberry ripple icecream and just as delicious. Thanks for sharing with us.:thmb:

Hi Strawman, number 5 is called Gran's Favorite - but the last one is actually called "Raspberry Ripple"! It's not the best shot, at the moment it has about 8 flowers which are more "rippley".

Very nice Sime!!! I have 3 or 4 different plants growing in pots but don't know the varieties. I love the strong scent they have as well as the lovely colors of flowers. Question though............... How do you keep them nice and tidy?? Mine have all gone leggy and quite woody and look very unkempt so I have kind of banished them to the bottom of the garden. Shame really as they deserve to have a bit more of their own place in the garden.

If they're going really woody you may be best taking cuttings and replacing - they can do this after about 3 or 4 years of growth.

The best thing is to cut them as low as possible at the same time as dead-heading, I find this keeps them thick and bushy. If they're going brown and woody you can chop them right down to about 2" high and they should still shoot up again.
