    Had this for a few years and i have no idea what it's called, is it a plam or a fern etc, how big will it get and does it have flowers or berrys please
    It's about 2feet tall at the moment

      T'other half has one of these too, and we have no name for it either. It has flowered and those are the seed pods forming.

                How strange, mine has lived outside here now for four years and I've seen no sign of flowers .... must look tomorrow but I don't expect to see anything ...

                I kept one of these for years, it sat on the dining table, (dont have a parlour), but they survive well.
                The flowers just drop off, as the females are not likely to get pollinated.
                I eventually put mine out in the garden in the shade of a tree.
                Died that winter, but then didn't expect much else really.

                This is my parlour palm before I split it up recently, it was so pot bound. They tend to flower under stress..... lack of water, to warm etc. They prefer a cooler room. :)

                  These look like warm climate plants, but they are in fact cold climate plants, they thrive and grow best in temperatures between 7C and 15C
