Anyone else got an odd pet?

I once had a pet wood louse. For the last few years we've had a pet spider. He is massive and lives in a web mansion that he's been building and extending over at least the last 3 years in the corner of the back storage room. We did choose a name for him but I've forgotten it. We don't really interact much because I'm wary of spiders.

 

Willow had a pet Sea Mouse, mind you, it was dead when she found it.

 

We get loads of lizards, really big fat ones and they earn their keep by eating all sorts of other bugs.
I've built a little rockery especially for them and they seem to like it, except for the occasional tussle as they are rather territorial creatures.
Next step is to increase the rockery so as to accommodate more of them.

I used to have pet garden snails...they all had names....and to identify them i painted symbols on their shells with nail varnish ...it was back in the 70's when we had heatwaves and i thought it would be nice to make them a nice run so they could enjoy the sunshine....but they fried

I got a surprise this morn 20 squirming baby hamsters! Yuck!

 

That is exactly what I looked like this morning! Ha ha
Got to look after the little things now. When she gets off the nest I will video them.
I do have a rescue tortoise who is unusual I will post a pic
