Mystery Alpine

    This plant has appeared in my front border. It is about 4 inches across and is growing in free draining , alkaline soil. Years ago, this was an alpine border.

    Any suggestions gratefully received!

        That's not a seedling, so it must have been there last year.

          Thank you. I've only taken over this garden recently so I'm still trying to work out what everything is and if want to keep it.

          If you have one you'll probably have loads more.
          I've just recommenced my ongoing cull. Last year there were a few that I thought garden worthy so I marked them. Sadly I'm plagued with squirrels and the markers have gone.
