Hi all. I would welcome your advice.
Today I have gained use of a plot of land (12m x 4m, sheltered and well drained) it was a veg garden for many years but not for some time. There's a lotof work needed to get it into shape but I would like to a few things in to overwinter so that it doesn't just feel like hard work. I have some early sprouting broc plants in tubs that I could transfer and some garlic bulbs on order. I also have some leeks that could go in.
What else would be good? Suggestions please!

Hi. The obvious one that springs to mind are spring cabbages. You could also try some 'jap' onions, planted in sept ( I think ). They don't store too well, but DO give you an early crop. The sets should be available soon.
    Cheers...freddy.

Don't forget to lime the soil for over winter.

There is quite a range of winter radish seeds you can still sow now, including mooli.
