You forgot to mention that before I recombine the sand and loam, I should first clean each grain, replace any worn ones, and make sure I replace them in the correct orientation and to the specified torque. It might even be best to get some aftermarket grains of sand of a higher spec than the standard ones.

Class!! I think forums are a brilliant way of gaining knowledge. If a discussion between two or mre people breaks out, and from that i get even more info that i had bargained for, all the better.

Theres a slightly easier solution than changing the earth's rotation. Set up an array of flood lights on your house. You will have to make sure the flood lights are brighter than the sun, so you may find your electric bill rising a bit as well :hehe:

Dizzy Daffs, eh? :D Turning to face the house at night, when you are home, and again to provide a welcome display to people travelling past during the day when the sun comes out. :thumb:

But isn't that why they're called 'spring onions'?

my dad sets the flood lights in my parents garden to come on until 11pm every night in end of winter/early spring for just that reason! Works well for him ;-)

Too late, we've already come up with a number of solutions between us. We are looking at changing the earth's axis, turning houses around, building huge flood light arrays etc.

Welcome to GC by the way:)

I'll have a look at your ebook later:gnthb:

    hmmmm...
you could blow a huge chunk out of the earth with a hypotronic laser
thus increasing aerodynamics and what not somehow making the flowers grow the right way
