You forgot to mention that before I recombine the sand and loam, I should first clean each grain, replace any worn ones, and make sure I replace them in the correct orientation and to the specified torque. It might even be best to get some aftermarket grains of sand of a higher spec than the standard ones.

my dad sets the flood lights in my parents garden to come on until 11pm every night in end of winter/early spring for just that reason! Works well for him ;-)
