    Any idea on growth habit size shape? annual, perennial? some of the leaves look like fat hen...

    Could it be Ground Elder?Well that is what Mr Kandy would say if he was identifying it because every plant with that type of leaf that we have found in our garden,he reckons that is what they are:scratch:

    It looks almost like a tomato seedling, except the colour 'aint quite right.

    Know nothing about it at all - it's just appeared. My first reaction was a rogue Wisteria, but no idea. Don't like the ground elder bit - it is something I have, but the leaves are different and nothing as large as this. Here's some more photos.

    It's Ailanthus altisima... the Tree of Heaven.... great name for a total thug!

    It'll either be a sucker from a nearby mature tree... or a seedling... either way (Unless you want a huge tree growing in your garden... ) get rid of it!

    I agree with Quercus, but not about the thug bit.

    I kinda like it, but I must admit it does sucker if the surface roots get damaged
